Demystifying Bitcoin: A personal odyssey

Demystifying Bitcoin: A personal odyssey

Written By Jennifer Ezeobi

I am Jennifer Ezeobi and this book will be a journal of my journey into bitcoin software development facilitated by Qala. I first heard of Bitcoin in 2019, a period when ponzi schemes were at an all time high in Nigeria, so I dismissed it as one of such schemes.

Bitcoin caught my attention in 2020, after the role it played in the ENDSARS protests in Nigeria when the government froze the accounts of all persons who were receiving donations to support the protest with food, water, medical aid etc. I transitioned into tech a month after and forgot all about it until 2021 when I came across the QALA program.

Jennifer continues the tale of her learning journey here https://medium.com/coinmonks/demystifying-bitcoin-a-personal-odyssey-bbb3f4514341 click to read more of her interesting story.
